About Deanship

The Deanship of Admissions and Registration is the cornerstone of the University of Hail, serving as the student's gateway to the university. It is responsible for their academic affairs and cares for them from the moment of admission and registration until their graduation. T​he Deanship is tasked with implementing the provisions and regulations of the university's study and examination bylaws, providing the best possible services to its students and university staff, including faculty and employees. It works to simplify admission and registration procedures, remove obstacles, and strives to improve all aspects of the admissions process. Registration is conducted using the latest methods and modern electronic systems, with the aim of achieving excellence in the performance of all admission processes and services.​
The Deanship of Admission and Registration was established with the issuance of Higher Education Council Resolution No. 20/39/1426 AH on 10/25/1426 AH, and Royal Approval No. 2921/MB dated 4/12/1427 AH. The Deanship began its work in 1426 and worked to develop its work so that it is compatible with With the increase in the number of students, the banner system was implemented in the deanship since the year 1429, and all paper student data and records were transferred to the electronic system (banner system).

The position taken by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at the University of Hail at the university level has imposed on it continuous progress towards developing its academic and guidance services and activities, not only to maintain this position, but also to move forward towards competing with other deanships locally and regionally in the field of providing academic and guidance services to students and faculty members.

This provided the opportunity to develop a strategic plan that directs the desired development of the deanship on sound scientific foundations and within the framework of an organized and approved implementation plan that seeks to achieve the objectives of the strategic plan in accordance with the institutional capacity standards approved by the Education Evaluation Commission, and within the framework of the strategic plan of the University of Hail.

The Deanship of Admission and Registration at the University of Hail operates detailed work procedures and a road map for the path it will take to achieve excellence in the field of providing academic and counseling services to students and faculty members. The services provided by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration during this current period are characterized by following specific, clear and announced standards and work mechanisms, and electronic programs that suit the nature of the university's academic operations, are in line with the new university system, and help in achieving its ambitious goals in a way that achieves the interest of all university employees.

  • ​Providing admission and registration services to students through the university’s electronic portal.
  • Issuing and documenting students’ academic records.
  • Organizing procedures for accepting distinguished non-Saudi students.
  • Receiving transfer requests from outside the university.
  • Participation in admission tests for new students.
  • Receiving visiting student delegations and providing them with the necessary information and publications.
  • Save and follow up on students’ results and everything related to them.
  • Follow up on the student’s progress according to the study plan and document his graduation.
  • Implementing the decisions of the University Council, College Councils, the Standing Committee for Student Problems, and the Student Disciplinary Committee.

  • Managing the admission process and determining its dates, places of admission, and examinations for admission.
  • Completing the registration process at the beginning of each semester (level) of the academic year on the dates specified for registration.
  • Announcing the admission decision to the students after fulfilling the justifications for admission and disbursing the stipends for the male and female students.
  • Conducting transfer, transfer and visitation operations in accordance with the regulations followed in the executive regulations between the university’s colleges or between the university and other universities.

Sustainable Development

​The university encourages colleges to provide services to its students as they are close to them and tracks the level of students’ performance through a portal called “The Academy.” This portal allows academic advisors to track students' performance, attendance, and course registration. If any student has the potential, the academic advisor will be alerted via email.
