The Council of Hail University, in its (third) session for the academic year 1428/1429 AH, recommended the establishment of the institute, and the Council of Higher Education, in its (fifty-third) session held on 3/3/1430 AH, approved the establishment of the institute by Resolution No. (14/53/1430 AH). The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Prime Minister, and the Chairman of the Council of Higher Education - may God protect him - approved the establishment of the Institute on 19/3/1430 AH, to serve as a center of expertise in research and consulting in all fields for the public and private sectors, as it is the university’s gateway to society. The establishment of the Research and Consulting Studies Institute at the university was intended to be an effective tool for serving the governmental and private sectors that contribute to advancing development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The institute strives to translate its vision and mission—both at the level of the Hail region and at the national level—and to provide its diverse services with high quality and in accordance with the best international standards, thus meeting the needs of governmental and private institutions, emphasizing the role of scientific research, reaching out to the community, and contributing to solutions. Its various issues, with the aim of developing and enhancing the competencies of workers in the public and private sectors, in order to increase productivity and establish a sustainable development strategy.
