The Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs at the University of Hail was changed by Decision No. (39/50) dated (15/1/1439H) based on the letter of the Minister of Education No. (936) dated (21/8/1438H) referred to the decision of the temporary committee tasked with carrying out the functions of the Higher Education Council (canceled) at its eleventh meeting held on (8/8/1438H). Its eleventh meeting held on (8/8/1438H) approved the abolition of the Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs and the creation of an alternative department called the General Administration of Human Resources based on the recommendation of the University Council at its third session for the academic year (1437/1438H) on (4/19/1438H)

This change comes due to the importance of the role played by this department to achieve the vision, mission and objectives of the university and serve the faculty members and employees, as it is the main driver of the administrative process in the university and by virtue of its competence in everything related to the university's manpower, including recruitment, contracting, training, scholarships, promotions, benefits and others for all university affiliates, including faculty members and employees, both Saudi and non-Saudi. This department is honored to facilitate everything that would serve the university to achieve leadership in teaching and science

Recruitment advertisements and attracting distinguished cadres.
Supervising human resources skills development programs and plans.
Monitor and enhance staff regularity.
Implementing services related to human resources: vacations, promotions, directives, etc
Supervising the implementation of human resources procedural processes.
Organizing and maintaining human resources records.
Support and support for low-performing employees.
Achieving a balance between the university’s needs and available human resources, through analyzing and planning the future needs of employees.
Promoting smooth and constructive relationships between faculty, administration and employees, by enhancing communication and opening channels for participation.
