​Strategic Goals:

  1. Develop a strategic plan to enhance data management using new technologies.
  2. Ensure the quality and accuracy of data at the University of Hail, with an emphasis on keeping it current and reliable.
  3. Aggregate data from multiple sources into a centralized repository to facilitate access and reduce errors.
  4. Achieve data security through robust measures such as encryption and access control management.
  5. Comply with data protection laws to minimize legal accountability risks.
  6. Encourage collaboration between departments to ensure effective coordination in data management.

2. Continuously develop tools and mechanisms for data collection, analysis, and documentation.

4. Develop statistical indicators related to the performance of the university's various units.

  3. Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by implementing procedures for data verification and error correction, ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
  4. Data Security: Protect data from threats and risks by using techniques such as encryption and access control to safeguard sensitive information from breaches.
  5. Data Storage: Organize and store data efficiently by selecting appropriate systems for data storage and organization, facilitating easy access and usage when needed.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to applicable regulations and standards by ensuring that all data activities align with relevant laws and standards to avoid legal risks.

Open data means that anyone can freely use, without technical, financial or legal restrictions, as well as reuse and publish it, taking into account the requirements of the legal license under which the data is 

published.
