1. Reviewing regulations, agreements, and contracts from a legal standpoint and drafting the necessary documents.
2. Representing the university before the Board of Grievances, judicial bodies, and other relevant authorities in matters in which the university is a party.
3. Monitoring the implementation of final judicial rulings and orders issued by judicial or quasi-judicial bodies.
4. Auditing reports related to the study and review of minutes of university councils and committees.
5. Conducting legal reviews of the delegated powers of university officials.
6. Participating in disciplinary investigation committees that conduct investigations into university staff and reviewing their decisions.
7. Investigating allegations of violations of regulations, bylaws, and instructions by university staff and providing opinions on these matters.
8. Providing legal support in matters related to decisions and agreements.
9. Reviewing incoming grievances and complaints, and conducting administrative investigations into referred cases.
10. Taking action to refer violations that warrant severe penalties, such as dismissal from service, to the Oversight and Investigation Authority for appropriate action.
11. Cooperating with oversight bodies to respond to their inquiries and provide evidence related to violations that warrant severe penalties.
12. Performing any other tasks assigned to the department by the authorized official and that fall within its area of competence.
