About the Deanship

The Deanship of Quality and Development is one of the newest support deanships at the university, having been established in the academic year 1432/1433 AH. This reflects the university administration's commitment to achieving quality and academic accreditation, and supports the Kingdom's drive towards excellence in university performance. Driven by the university's desire to be among the distinguished universities at all local, regional, and international levels, it has been keen to adopt and implement quality in its comprehensive sense to compete in the pursuit of excellence. With advanced universities. The Deanship of Quality and Development at the university works to implement quality and accreditation standards in all academic and administrative units within the university. This ensures that the university can meet the real expectations and needs of the community, improve performance in all areas of university operations, establish systems that define how work can be carried out with the highest efficiency and quality, and evaluate and measure performance according to specific standards. The work of the Deanship of Quality and Development is characterized by its seriousness, given the need for continuous monitoring to improve academic and administrative practices and processes. All university units, including supporting deanships, colleges, and various departments in both the male and female student sections, and coordination with relevant external parties.

​Interest in applying quality in higher education has increased because of its great importance in achieving the goals of higher education institutions, and as a result of the information and communications technology revolution and its impact on the educational process and the intense competition between academic institutions in providing the highest level of quality. Therefore, the deanship seeks to develop and improve all administrative processes. And the Academy to achieve the highest levels of quality within the university, reaching the highest levels of recognized university classification, God Almighty willing. Conditions for Passing Training Courses

  1. The trainee is committed to attending the training hours allocated for the course, with the consideration of allowing him/her to apologize for attendance 24 hours before the start of the course.
  2. Passing the pre- and post-test to measure the impact of the training, which includes questions from the material of the course.
  3. The trainee evaluates the training course electronically through the electronic registration website.
  4. The certificate is issued by the Deanship of Quality and Development electronically after the end of the training course.

​1-How do I obtain technical support in the field of quality and accreditation?

Technical support can be obtained in one of the following ways:

  • Direct attendance at the deanship headquarters, whether in the male or female sections.
  • Contact the technical support unit in the deanship: in the male section, extension No. (6226), and in the female section, extension No. (8391).
  • Send your request for technical support, inquiries, and contact numbers to the following email: (Male Section quality@uoh.edu.sa) (Female Section quality.female@uoh.edu.sa)
  • Communicate with the technical support assigned to each college and each branch of the university, who can be identified by referring to the quality agent in the college/and in the branch.

2- Are there specific forms available that help in reviewing the program description/report?

Yes, there are many forms designed to help those in charge of internal audit work in various academic units review the program description/program report, as well as review the course description/course report, and they can be obtained through the tab (electronic forms found on the site) or requested directly by contacting the numbers mentioned. 3- As a faculty member, how can I evaluate teaching strategies and evaluation methods in describing my courses?

The teaching strategies and evaluation methods used in the course description must be verified; The targeted learning outcomes for the learning areas that should be focused on in each course are three areas: knowledge, skills, and values.​

Sustainable Development

The Deanship of Quality and Development applies various mechanisms and tools to follow up on performance and measure achievement rates at all academic levels and administrative units. The Deanship prepared 14 models for designing programs Surveys to collect data on the opinions of beneficiaries (employees, graduates, employers, etc.) and forms For internal and external audit. All of this was later announced to various university stakeholders. The public education policy in the Kingdom emphasized free education in all its forms and stages, and emphasized the linkage of education at all levels.
