1. Organizing the financial and administrative affairs of the university, as well as those of external beneficiaries.
2. Providing all financial and administrative services to the various sectors, departments, and employees of the university.
3. Employing modern technologies in implementing various financial and administrative operations and services.
4. Preparing annual and five-year plans for the activities of the General Directorate of Financial and Administrative Affairs and monitoring their implementation after approval.
5. Participating in the preparation of the draft general budget, preparing accounting records for budget items, and monitoring the movement of appropriations on a regular basis.
6. Supervising the application of all financial systems and regulations applicable to the university and ensuring their efficient and effective implementation.
7. Supervising the university fund and disbursing funds from the approved university budget in accordance with applicable regulations and laws.
8. Implementing and maintaining circulars, decisions, and instructions issued by the university and received from various entities regarding financial services.
9. Utilizing emerging technologies and innovations to enhance the performance of the department and its employees.
10. Supervising and monitoring contract and procurement operations.
11. Supervising and monitoring warehouse operations. 12. Supervising and monitoring the university's self-governing departments and approving their expenditures in accordance with regulations and bylaws.
13. Preparing an annual report on the department's activities, achievements, and proposals for improving future performance.
14. Identifying and assessing financial and administrative risks and working to find the necessary solutions to address them and mitigate their impact.
15. Providing the necessary financial data to support decision-making.
16. Performing any other tasks assigned within its area of expertise.
