1. Automation of all financial and accounting operations.
2. Preparation of accounting records for entries and disbursements, and reconciliation of disbursements with budget items.
3. Proposal for transfers to and from budget item allocations and request for additional allocations, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Planning, Budget, and Follow-up.
4. Taking action to collect outstanding receivables owed to the university.
5. Direct execution of all assigned financial and accounting tasks according to the instructions issued within the Royal Decree concerning the university's budget, its regulations, the disbursement and collection bylaws, and financial regulations, in accordance with applicable systems.
6. Disbursement of temporary and permanent advances and monitoring of advances disbursed during the year.
7. Auditing financial transactions and ensuring the completeness of all disbursement documentation.
8. Payment of training fees and allowances for university employees.
9. Preparation of an annual report on the department's activities, achievements, and proposals for improving future performance.
10. Follow-up on the repayment of advances and university receivables owed to the university, and monitoring the collection of revenues and dues. 11. Notifying beneficiaries, both individuals and companies, of any outstanding payments owed to them.
12. Supervising the university's treasury and the disbursement officers of colleges, hospitals, and branches, and conducting surprise audits of these funds.
13. Preparing the university's final accounts, following up on the preparation of the auditor's report, and responding to observations from the General Auditing Bureau and other relevant entities.
14. Disbursing funds from the university's approved budget in accordance with applicable regulations and laws.
15. Delivering payments to eligible recipients via checks or bank deposits.
16. Issuing payment orders after obtaining all necessary signatures.
17. Preparing accounting records for recording and disbursing funds from the university's own revenues.
