The University of Hail is one of the leading educational institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Since its establishment, it has sought to achieve leadership at the local and regional levels in disseminating knowledge, achieving research excellence, and enhancing sustainable partnership with society.
This is done by providing a high-quality and stimulating educational environment that aims to prepare graduates with the necessary qualifications to integrate into the labour market, and to produce research that serves society by applying the highest quality standards and making the most of human and technological resources.
Based on the university's vision and guided by its mission in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its development plans, the University Vice-Rectorate seeks to achieve the university's goals and its strategic plan in order to achieve comprehensive development of the various aspects of the university, whether academic, research, administrative or financial, by enhancing the efficiency of the university's institutional performance and developing its administrative and financial systems to keep pace with the latest global developments in the administrative and financial fields.
The University Vice-Rectorate plays an essential role in achieving the university's goals by supervising the vital departments that support the performance of the university's basic functions and providing administrative and logistical support to them to ensure the proper functioning of work and the achievement of their goals.
These departments include the following:
• General Administration of Administrative and Financial Affairs: which is concerned with preparing the necessary plans to provide financial and administrative resources to the university, ensuring its operation and achieving its educational, research, and community service objectives.
• General Administration of Projects, Operations and Maintenance: which works to maintain the safety and efficiency of the university's facilities and infrastructure, and to provide a safe and effective educational and research environment for students and employees.
• General Administration of Investment: which is responsible for developing the university's financial resources and increasing its revenues through investments.
• Transportation Department: responsible for providing and managing transportation for students, employees, and faculty members inside and outside the university.
• Documents and Archives Centre: responsible for preserving, organizing, and protecting the university's historical and administrative documents, ensuring the preservation of the university's historical memory and enhancing transparency and accountability in the university's administration.
The University Vice-Rectorate seeks to create an attractive work environment that encourages university staff to participate, take initiative, be positive, and strive for excellence and creativity by simplifying administrative and financial procedures and processes and increasing their speed and efficiency.
In line with the university's policy of using technology efficiently and adhering to the principle of transparency, the Vice-Rectorate displays on its electronic portal a simplified overview that includes an introduction to the Vice-Rectorate, its objectives, responsibilities, staff, and services.
The Vice-Rectorate provides electronic forms to evaluate the services it provides, with the aim of continuously improving the quality of these services.
