Members of the Department of Oral Diagnostics and Surgery conduct research on a wide range of topics, including:
- Clinical techniques used to study oral diseases and healing, with an emphasis on epithelial hyperplasia, pre-neoplastic and neoplastic diseases as well as diseases of the oral mucosa.
- Oral and maxillofacial surgery, oncology and clinical research.
- Oral X-ray.
- Many research projects are implemented in partnership with other departments in the College of Dentistry.
