His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, inaugurated the International Conference on Vaccine and Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Organized by the University of Hail, the conference brings together a distinguished group of scientists, experts, and specialists from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in vaccine manufacturing and development.
During his visit, Prince Abdulaziz toured the University of Hail’s conference center and explored the accompanying exhibition. He received a detailed briefing on the latest innovations and technologies in vaccine production, as well as the role played by companies and academic institutions in advancing this critical field. The event also featured the signing of cooperation agreements between the University of Hail and leading national pharmaceutical companies, aimed at supporting research, development, and local production.
At the closing ceremony, His Royal Highness honored participants and conference partners in recognition of their contributions to the success of this significant scientific event. In his remarks, the Acting President of the University of Hail, Professor Zaid bin Mhel Al-Aly, expressed his gratitude to Prince Abdulaziz for his patronage and support, emphasizing that the event marks an important milestone in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position in vaccine manufacturing and development, in alignment with the ambitious goals of Vision 2030 to advance the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.
