About University Property Department

The Real Estate and Property Management Department is responsible for maintaining the quality and sustainability of the university's assets through integrated operational, technical, and legal management. The department works on asset development, contracting, property ownership, and coordinating with government entities, in addition to preparing periodic reports that support decision-making and ensure the optimal use of real estate assets.

3. Supporting academic objectives by planning the development of real estate assets in accordance with the university's academic and research goals, and ensuring the availability of facilities necessary to provide an outstanding educational experience.

4. Contributing to the community by utilizing the university's real estate assets to provide services to the surrounding community, such as community spaces and business support initiatives.

5. Maintaining sustainability by managing the real estate portfolio in an environmentally sustainable manner and minimizing the university's carbon footprint.

Dept Tasks


1. Managing and maintaining the university's real estate assets, including buildings, land, and facilities, to ensure their quality and readiness for use.

2. Planning the long-term development of real estate assets.

3. Drafting contracts and lease agreements with tenants and investors.

4. Following up on legal procedures related to the university's ownership of land and buildings, including documentation and collection.

5. Evaluating real estate assets through periodic reviews to confirm their market value.

6. Coordinating with government agencies regarding building permits and urban planning.

7. Preparing reports on the condition of the university's real estate assets and providing recommendations on capital investments.
