About International Agreements and Cooperation Department

The department is responsible for fostering international and local cooperation in line with the university's vision and mission, through building effective partnerships with universities and scientific and research institutions. Its tasks include developing future plans for international cooperation, communicating with prestigious international universities, and encouraging colleges and departments to sign memoranda of understanding that support academic and research development.

The department also reviews agreements to ensure their legal validity, activates partnerships, monitors their implementation and outcomes, and coordinates student exchange programs and joint research projects. It prepares periodic reports on the university's international cooperation activities and undertakes any other tasks within its purview.

Department Tasks


1. Activating the international and local cooperation system in accordance with the university's vision, mission, and strategic directions.

2. Developing future plans with international entities that the university aims to collaborate with, in a way that serves its objectives.

3. Communicating with prestigious international universities and exploring opportunities for international cooperation and knowledge exchange, in line with the university's strategic plan.

4. Encouraging university colleges and academic departments to connect with their counterparts in other universities and research institutions to sign memoranda of understanding.

5. Reviewing agreements and partnership contracts to ensure their legal validity.

6. Contributing to the activation of agreements and memoranda of understanding between the university and international and local universities, scientific institutions, and research centers.

7. Coordinating student exchange programs and joint research initiatives.

8. Continuously supervising and monitoring the implementation of the terms of cooperation and mutual partnerships, and tracking the most important outcomes of the agreements.

9. Preparing reports on the university's activities and achievements in the field of agreements, partnerships, and international cooperation.

10. Any other tasks assigned by the department that fall within its responsibilities.
