Department

The University of Hail and its academic leaders gave special attention to quality projects and accreditation standards for universities and academic programs, because of their conviction that the university is primarily responsible for preparing and qualifying its generations to face the challenges of the times, and because of its belief that what has become required is “education” of a new kind, education that prepares the individual and society for the realities of And the dynamics of the quality era, which has become one of the most important characteristics of the twenty-first century. Despite the recent establishment of the University of Hail compared to the ancient universities in the Kingdom, its Deanship of Quality and Development, represented by the Quality and Accreditation Department, is taking steady steps towards qualifying the university’s faculties and academic programs towards local and international accreditation, through a clear institutional structure and an organizational structure that allows for the unification of Efforts are coordinated through objective mechanisms and practices linked to accreditation standards. Dept Tasks

Quality and Accreditation Management Tasks:

One of the most important basic responsibilities undertaken by the Quality and Accreditation Department is to lead, coordinate and support quality processes and practices in all university units and institutions through:

First: Developing commitment to improving quality through:

Supporting the culture of faculty, staff and students at the university towards the importance of quality assurance processes and knowing the strategies necessary to achieve them.

Organizing workshops, seminars, and meetings with students, faculty members, and workers to support a culture of quality with regard to academic, social, financial, and cultural guidance systems - teaching schedules, tests, office hours, systems and policies for admission, registration, withdrawal, study attendance, apologies, and grades.

Holding, implementing and managing workshops to prepare descriptions and reports of academic programs in light of the models prepared by the National Authority for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation and reviewing them periodically.

Spreading the culture of quality among university employees and conducting studies and holding conferences, seminars, meetings and workshops in the field of quality and academic accreditation.

Developing the concept of “mission” and the concept of “objectives” in order to improve quality at the university and encourage all units to carry out similar actions, each within the scope of its activity.

Developing specific visions of what should be done at the university in terms of important developments and distinguished achievements through quality processes.

Involving stakeholders and beneficiaries of the university’s activities and its various institutions in developing quality assurance strategies, and working to raise community awareness of the important achievements being achieved.

Message

Qualifying for accreditation through continuous preparation to meet the accreditation requirements of the university, its administrative units, colleges, and supporting deanships, in a manner consistent with the standards of the National Authority for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation at the institutional and programmatic level, providing consultations and training programs, and conducting research and service projects regarding quality at the level of the university and the surrounding community.
