Quality and Accreditation Management Tasks:
One of the most important basic responsibilities undertaken by the Quality and Accreditation Department is to lead, coordinate and support quality processes and practices in all university units and institutions through:
First: Developing commitment to improving quality through:
- Supporting the culture of faculty, staff and students at the university towards the importance of quality assurance processes and knowing the strategies necessary to achieve them.
- Organizing workshops, seminars, and meetings with students, faculty members, and workers to support a culture of quality with regard to academic, social, financial, and cultural guidance systems - teaching schedules, tests, office hours, systems and policies for admission, registration, withdrawal, study attendance, apologies, and grades.
- Holding, implementing and managing workshops to prepare descriptions and reports of academic programs in light of the models prepared by the National Authority for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation and reviewing them periodically.
- Spreading the culture of quality among university employees and conducting studies and holding conferences, seminars, meetings and workshops in the field of quality and academic accreditation.
- Developing the concept of “mission” and the concept of “objectives” in order to improve quality at the university and encourage all units to carry out similar actions, each within the scope of its activity.
- Developing specific visions of what should be done at the university in terms of important developments and distinguished achievements through quality processes.
- Involving stakeholders and beneficiaries of the university’s activities and its various institutions in developing quality assurance strategies, and working to raise community awareness of the important achievements being achieved.
