1. What is Pharm. D. Program?
A bachelor degree includes 6 years. Five years are for academic study and year 6 for internship.
2. What are the main objectives of the Pharm. D. program?

3. How many credit hours needed to earn Pharm. D. Degree?
A student has to fulfill 208 credit hours over 6 years
4. Where can I study Pharm. D. program?
First year in the preparatory year campus and 4 years in the main pharmacy campus, while the last year includes clinical rotations in hospitals.
5. How many training courses taken in the program?
Twelve training courses including two summer courses (PHTR 320 and PHTR 420) in addition to ten clinical rotations in the last year (internship).
6. How many obligatory courses shall I take in the program?
Seventy-six obligatory courses (including training ones)
7. How many elective courses shall I take in the program?
Minimum two elective courses
8. Are all courses eligible for registration?
A student has to pass pre-requisite course to register in the needed one according to the program study plan.
9. What is the minimum CGPA shall I obtain before graduation?
CGPA should be more than 1 (out of 4) to be eligible for graduation
10. What are the dress code requirements during study?
You are expected to maintain a professional appearance. This generally includes wearing a blue scrub in classrooms and white lab coat in practical sessions.
11. What is the APPE program?
APPE stands for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience. It is a hands-on training program designed to give PharmD students real-world experience in different pharmacy settings.
12. How many rotations do I have to complete?
Students must complete 10 rotations. Each rotation lasts for 5 weeks with approximately 40 contact hours per week.
13. When does the training period start and end?
The training period is divided into several cycles with specific start and end dates. For example, the first cycle begins in July and ends in August of the same year. Please refer to the APPE calendar for all cycle dates.
14. What documents are required before starting APPE?
You need to submit copies of your national ID, passport or driving license, university ID, two recent colored photos, an updated academic transcript, and the completed registration and compliance forms.

16. What is the attendance policy for rotations?
Attendance is mandatory. Students must complete a minimum of 40 contact hours per week. All absences need to be approved in advance or supported by proper documentation in case of emergencies.
17. Can I change my rotation assignment?
Yes, limited changes are allowed. Students may request up to two changes, subject to approval based on availability, performance, and the requirements of the training site.
18. Who evaluates my performance during the APPE program?
The preceptor, college supervisor, and the training coordinator evaluate student's performance. Evaluations include a self-assessment, mid-point evaluation, and a final evaluation for each rotation.
19. What are the dress code requirements in training?
You are expected to maintain a professional appearance. This generally includes wearing a white, closed lab coat with a name tag and following any additional dress code rules set by your rotation site.
