Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Hail Region, the University of Hail, represented by the College of Applied Medical Sciences, inaugurated the "Artificial Intelligence in Medical Sciences" conference under the slogan "The Future of Healthcare through Research, Development and Innovation" during the period from September 9 to 11, 2024 AD at the Conference Center at the University of Hail. It is the first conference of its kind in medical sciences that brings together academics and healthcare professionals from various health specialties with experts and developers of artificial intelligence from all over the Kingdom and abroad, with the aim of enhancing communication and exchanging knowledge and experiences. The educational activities at the conference include scientific presentations and panel discussions from keynote speakers joining us from different countries of the world, a multidisciplinary oral scientific presentation and research posters, workshops, and a scientific and research exhibition. This conference on artificial intelligence in medical sciences is organized in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the aspirations of His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect him - for the Kingdom to be a leading global model in the field of artificial intelligence.

His Excellency the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Amjad bint Rashid Al-Yahyawi, expressed her sincere thanks to His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Hail Region, for his generous patronage of the conference and to His Excellency the Acting President of University of Hail, Prof. Zaid bin Muhalhel Alshammari and the University's Vice President, Dr. Haitham Al-Saif, for their support and providing the means for the success of this conference to make University of Hail a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence and data science.

On the sidelines of the opening of the conference, a number of agreements were signed, including a cooperation agreement between the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Hail University and both the Academy of Sciences and the Horizons of Management Science Training Center, as well as a cooperation agreement between Hail University, the Suleiman Abanmi Charitable Foundation, and the Council of Civil Associations in the Hail Region.
