The Department of Physical Therapy at the College of Applied Medical Sciences at University of Hail organized the World Physical Therapy Day under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Amjad Al-Yahyawi, and in the presence of the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Meshari Al-Meshari, and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Omar Al-Thomali. During the event, informational and educational booths were displayed about the Department of Physical Therapy and their role played by Physical Therapists in rehabilitating various injuries and cases, with the aim of increasing awareness of the importance of the therapeutic services provided by the specialty. A number of faculty members and students of the department also presented scientific lectures with the aim of exchanging practical experiences about the latest technologies and clinical aspects of the specialty of physical Therapy. The Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences indicated in her opening speech that organizing these events would raise the quality of the educational program's outcomes with regard to the department's mission of engaging the students through scientific and applied foundations before joining the labor market. She also pointed out that this event confirms the college's commitment to involving its students and engaging them in such scientific programs in order to gain experience in cooperation with faculty members and speakers, concluding her speech by thanking those in charge of organizing this event.
