Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Amjad bint Rashid Al-Yahyawi, and with the attendance and participation of faculty members, staff and students of the college, the college celebrated the occasion of "Saudi Founding Day", which formally celebrated on February 22 of each year, in confirmation of the depth of national belonging and pride in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony included a presentation reviewing the history of the founding of the Kingdom and the stages and milestones of its development, as well as many diverse activities including traditional foods and coffee, poems and folk songs and traditional costumes. In her opening speech, the Dean of the College expressed pride and appreciation for the achievements made in the Kingdom, noting that celebrating the Founding Day is not just a historical occasion, but also an opportunity to renew the pledge to work to achieve more progress in various fields, including scientific and medical fields.
