About Community Responsibility Department

The administration works to enhance the university's role in serving the community and achieving effective integration between the university sector and various governmental, private, and community sectors. This is accomplished through building and activating sustainable development partnerships based on the principles of governance, planning, and professional management, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the university's strategic plan.

The administration also contributes to strengthening the relationship between the university's colleges and community sectors, enabling the university to effectively fulfill its developmental and community role. Furthermore, it leverages available partnerships and opportunities to support the development of the university's own financial resources and enhance the sustainability of its impact and contribution to development at both the local and national levels.

Goals

1. To activate integration between the university sector and other community systems based on professional and specialized foundations that focus on the principles of governance, management, and planning, and are consistent with the priorities of Saudi Vision 2030 in community development and the university's strategic plan.

2. To strengthen the relationship between the university's colleges and community sectors and create suitable conditions for them to play a positive role in serving the community.

3. To promote and activate a community development partnership with relevant governmental and private sectors.

4. To contribute to the development of the university's own financial resources.

Organizational structure

Dept Tasks

1. Coordinating with various colleges, deanships, centers, and departments within the university to promote a culture of social responsibility and conduct various related activities and events both within and outside the university community.

2. Coordinating with various entities in the external university community to build the necessary collaborative relationships and community partnerships for initiatives, programs, and events.

3. Working to provide opportunities for university staff to participate in events to promote a culture of volunteerism.

4. Working to prepare various events related to raising awareness, promoting a culture of social responsibility, and serving the community.

5. Ensuring the quality of social responsibility services through feedback from beneficiaries.

6. Preparing and organizing workshops on social responsibility and impactful community initiatives to develop the department's resources.

7. Preparing various reports on social responsibility plans, activities, and achievements.
