The Emir of Hail, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, sponsored the graduation ceremony of 7,234 students at the University of Hail.

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Hail Region, attended the graduation ceremony of 7,234 students from the University of Hail on the evening of Wednesday, Dhul-Qa’dah 14, 1445 (May 22, 2024). This event marked the graduation of the 19th batch of diploma and bachelor's degree students from various colleges and specialties, and the 11th batch of master’s degree students, covering a total of 115 academic programs. The ceremony was also attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Hail Region, and the region's undersecretary, Adel bin Saleh Al-Sheikh, at the university campus.

Upon his arrival at the ceremony, His Highness took commemorative photos with the university board members and a group photo with the distinguished graduates. The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, followed by recitations from the Holy Quran. It included a presentation of the academic procession and distinguished graduates, followed by a tableau illustrating the journey of the graduates.

His Highness and the attendees then watched a visual presentation of the university’s achievements over the past year and a documentary highlighting key aspects of its work. The President of the University of Hail, Dr. Rashid bin Muslat Al-Sharif, delivered a speech expressing his gratitude to the Governor and Deputy Governor for their attendance and support, highlighting their continuous backing which aligns with the wise leadership's commitment to education in the Kingdom, in line with Vision 2030.

Dr. Al-Sharif emphasized that the University of Hail is dedicated to providing the best educational, training, and professional environment for its students, aiming to contribute to the Vision 2030 goals through various educational programs, scientific conferences, health and humanitarian initiatives, and partnerships with both public and private sectors in and beyond Hail Region.

The Governor and Deputy Governor of Hail congratulated the graduates and commended the efforts of the university’s president, deans, professors, and the parents of the students. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad noted that the generous support from the leadership has enabled universities to play a pioneering role in shaping the future of the generations, appreciating the follow-up by the Minister of Education and the University President on enhancing university education and developing human resources and modern facilities.

At the end of the ceremony, the Governor honored the top graduates, including the oldest graduate of the 19th batch, Huda Al-Obaidah (62 years old), who received a bachelor's degree in psychology with first-class honors. The university’s partners and sponsors were also recognized.
