The College of Arts and Arts at the University of Hail is the only college in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that bears this name (College of Arts and Arts). The college was established in the year 1430 AH - 2010 AD, and its first dean was Dr. Muhammad bin Farih Al-Tamimi, current dean of the college, Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Al-Shehri, and the deans who passed by: Dr. Fahd Al-Hawas, Dr. Khaled Al-Harbi, Dr. Dhaif Allah Al-Talhi.
The most prominent features of the college:
The college has gained importance due to the long history of some of its departments, such as the Arabic Language Department, the English Language Department, and the Social Sciences Department. Given the vitality of its other departments, I found them to be the Department of Tourism and Antiquities, the Department of Media, and the Department of Fine Arts. The college has had a prominent role and a clear imprint on the level of the University of Hail. It was here that the Hail University Journal for Human Sciences was born, which is the peer-reviewed scientific journal that was founded in 1437, of which four issues were issued, and are still being published.
The college is also distinguished by the availability of important and vital student clubs, which serve at both academic and community levels, such as the volunteer club, the media club, the fine arts club, and others. The college was among the first colleges to activate the electronic academic advising system.
At the postgraduate level, the college includes a master’s program in the Arabic language, and some diploma programs in the Media Department. It is on its way to opening similar programs in English, social sciences, tourism and archeology, and fine arts.
The most important conferences that the college has organized or cooperated with:
⁃ Symposium (The Reality of Humanitarian Studies in the Twenty-First Century) 1432.
⁃ Hail History Conference through the Ages 1438.
⁃ Eighth Archaeological Studies Forum 1441.
⁃ Annual celebration of International Arabic Language Day through research, studies and scientific papers.
Recruitment outlets:
The college qualifies its male students and female students to work in many fields, such as education, social and volunteer services, tourist guidance, museums, cultural, artistic, and media institutions, public relations, and other governmental and private service sectors.
Kingdom Vision 2030:
Today, the specializations of the College of Arts and Arts are in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and meet its ambitions. Indeed, in each department of the college there are many paths that support the goals of the vision and support its starting points, which makes the outlook on literature and arts different from before, and this is what the numbers and statistics are beginning to confirm today.
