‏Prince of Hail to Sponsor Tomorrow’s AI in Medical Sciences Conference at Hail University

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Abdulaziz will sponsor tomorrow the Artificial Intelligence in Medical Sciences Conference, organized by Hail University, represented by the College of Applied Medical Sciences, over three days. This is the first conference of its kind in the field of medical sciences, with participation from scientists, researchers, academics, experts, and AI developers from around the world, taking place at the University of Hail’s conference center in the university city.


The conference will feature more than 48 participants and keynote speakers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Greece, Belarus, Japan, Mexico, and India.


In addition to the main sessions, the first two days will include several workshops and educational sessions, along with other events such as keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster presentations, and discussion panels. The event will showcase 26 scientific lectures by specialists in medical sciences and AI. The conference will also host an exhibition featuring 16 booths from various organizations and partners.


Throughout this conference, Hail University will witness broad participation from specialists in AI technologies in medical sciences, aiming to exchange ideas, proposals, and scientific visions. It will also address frameworks and ethical guidelines for the use of AI technologies, while promoting their application in the medical sciences to build a better present and future for upcoming generations.


Dr. Zaid bin Mehlhel Al-Shammari, Acting President of Hail University, emphasized the importance of hosting the AI in Medical Sciences Conference, describing it as a pivotal milestone in the university’s trajectory. He noted that the conference strengthens the university’s participation in the latest research focusing on medical science technologies. The event brings together the brightest minds in both AI and medical sciences, opening up opportunities for enhanced dialogue and driving innovation.


He also pointed out that Hail University looks forward to exploring how to benefit from these developments in order to find solutions to major regional and global challenges in various healthcare sectors. He concluded by highlighting that the conference represents a platform that reflects the Kingdom’s leadership in AI, especially in medical sciences, a position that continues to strengthen each day.
