Today, Monday, Hail University welcomed the Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad Caravan for Tomorrow’s Youth, launched by the Hail Region Development Authority. This initiative aims to enhance professional skills among students of general education by providing practical experiences and visits to government entities in the region.
The visit began with a tour of the College of Engineering, followed by visits to the College of Computer Science and Engineering, the College of Medicine, and the College of Dentistry. The delegation attended presentations about the colleges’ specializations, admission systems, academic programs for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and key academic and educational projects and initiatives adopted by the university. They also toured scientific laboratories and facilities in each college and met with several faculty members.
This initiative reflects the care and commitment of His Royal Highness the Emir of Hail Region to supporting youth. It aligns with his vision of providing opportunities to help develop their skills and capabilities to achieve their personal and professional goals, serving the nation and its wise leadership. The initiative also aims to foster a culture of initiative-taking among young people, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
The caravan’s visit seeks to encourage the exchange of ideas and the development of knowledge among participants, as well as to promote the launch of developmental initiatives that benefit the region.
At the conclusion of the visit, commemorative photos were taken, and gifts were presented to the visiting delegation. The event was attended by the deans of colleges, department heads, and faculty members at the university.
