Under the patronage of the Acting University President, Prof. Zaid bin Muhalhal Al-Shammari, Hail University, represented by the Community Responsibility Department, recently hosted an awareness and educational pavilion to introduce the functions of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) to university affiliates, including students, faculty members, and employees. The pavilion also featured participation from the Nazaha Student Club, as part of the awareness and educational programs conducted by the university and the authority to promote a culture of integrity and combat corruption.
The university president visited the pavilion and was briefed on the authority’s responsibilities, activities, and awareness programs aimed at protecting integrity, fostering transparency, and combating corruption. He commended the authority’s active role in raising awareness and educating the university community on anti-corruption efforts. He also emphasized the authority’s significant contribution to fulfilling the aspirations of the nation’s wise leadership and creating a favorable environment for achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The pavilion aimed to familiarize participants with the authority’s roles and responsibilities by educating and informing university affiliates about the importance of promoting integrity, transparency, and combating corruption. Attendees were provided with a guide to specialized programs and activities designed to enhance integrity. Additionally, questions about the mechanism for reporting suspected financial or administrative corruption within entities under the authority’s jurisdiction were addressed.
This initiative was organized in coordination and collaboration between the university and the authority, featuring forums, training courses, and seminars on transparency, integrity, and anti-corruption.
