His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Hail Region, received citizens and heads of government departments at his weekly Monday session at Ajjah Palace yesterday, Monday. The session was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Hail, and Adel bin Saleh Al-Sheikh, the Undersecretary of the Emirate.
During the session, Prince Abdulaziz honored the President of the University of Hail, Dr. Rashid bin Muslat Al-Sharif, as well as the university’s vice presidents and deans of colleges. His Highness praised the generous support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince—may God preserve them—for Saudi universities, enabling them to achieve global rankings and win international awards, with continuous oversight by the Minister of Education. He commended the pioneering role of the University of Hail and the high-quality work it offers in education, research, and community engagement, highlighting the significant success of this year's graduation ceremony.
The President of the University of Hail, Dr. Rashid bin Muslat Al-Sharif, spoke about the university's achievements in academics and research, aligning its programs with Saudi Vision 2030, and its accomplishments in major projects and empowering women in academic leadership. He praised the substantial support for education from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince—may God protect them—and expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Hail and his Deputy for their continuous support and encouragement.
Following this, the university's vice presidents and college deans detailed the academic and research achievements, projects, women's empowerment, and their participation in international forums and conferences. They also highlighted student activities, community engagement, quality of life programs, investment projects, efforts in intellectual protection, and the contributions of medical and health personnel from the university in enhancing patient care in Hail and other regions where university graduates serve as doctors.
