Yesterday evening, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, inaugurated a package of new projects at Hail University in University City. The ceremony was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the region, the Deputy Governor Adel bin Saleh Al Al-Sheikh, and the University President Dr. Rashid bin Maslat Al Sharif.
Upon arrival, His Highness unveiled the commemorative plaque for the Administrative Tower building, toured the building, and inaugurated the Aja Oasis for Education and Technology, reviewing their contents.
Following this, the ceremonial speech began with the royal greeting and recitation of the Quran, followed by a speech from the University President, Dr. Rashid bin Maslat Al Sharif, expressing gratitude to His Highness the Governor of Hail Region for his patronage of the project inauguration ceremony. He emphasized the significant contribution of these projects to the advancement of higher education in the region, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. He also praised the wise leadership's support in developing the university's academic environment to nurture the capabilities of the nation's sons and daughters.
Next, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad inaugurated the Administrative Tower building and viewed a visual presentation about it. He also inaugurated a package of university projects, including the visual identity of Hail University, named the Hail font, the university's strategic plan, the Aja Oasis for Science and Technology, the Future Skills Unit, the Student Researcher-Innovator Initiative, the university's central laboratories, and viewed visual presentations about them.
Following this, His Highness honored former university officials, the team responsible for preparing the second strategic plan, and the General Secretariat of the Higher Education Fund represented by Dr. Samer bin Mohammed Al-Aqeel. He also honored photographers Naif Al-Salhub and Mohammed Al-Khamsan.
The University President presented commemorative gifts to His Highness the Governor of the region and his Deputy.
The Governor of the region reminisced about the beginnings of the university's establishment and how dreams turned into reality. He emphasized the continuous growth of the university, affirming that these projects add to the region's wealth of initiatives under the wise leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, praising their efforts in advancing the nation's youth.
