The President of Hail University, Dr. Rashid bin Maslat Al-Sharif, sponsored the collective Iftar for students on Sunday, 14 Ramadan 1445 AH (corresponding to March 24, 2024), organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The event was attended by several government officials, university vice presidents, college deans, faculty members, staff, and students. The university president met with the students, including those on external scholarships, and shared motivational words encouraging them to embrace fasting and worship during the holy month.
Dr. Khalid bin Mubarak Al Mutairi, the Dean of Student Affairs, explained that the annual Ramadan Iftar for students is traditionally held to strengthen bonds of love and brotherhood. He emphasized that the occasion provides a valuable opportunity to enhance solidarity and connection among students from different colleges, fostering communication bridges that positively impact their educational, cultural, and social experiences during the blessed month of Ramadan.
