During the academic year 2025–2026, the University of Ha’il implemented one hundred community initiatives and activities with the participation of its various colleges and departments, benefiting 80,544 individuals. The university also signed partnerships and agreements with governmental and private entities to strengthen its contribution to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and to reinforce the concept of social responsibility as a core pillar of university work.
According to the annual report issued by the Social Responsibility Administration, the initiatives covered diverse fields including health, prevention, education, training, community development, humanitarian support, legal and rights awareness, technology, innovation, culture, and environmental sustainability. The average number of beneficiaries per initiative reached 805 individuals.
The “Saifi Rally 2026” initiative recorded the highest number of beneficiaries with 30,000 participants, followed by the “Develop Your Skills in Summer” initiative with 20,000 beneficiaries. Additionally, numerous awareness programs were carried out in the fields of health, innovation, culture, volunteer work, and career development.
The university further strengthened its collaboration with several governmental and private entities through agreements and memoranda of understanding covering community development, training, health, volunteerism, and inmate rehabilitation. These partnerships contribute to expanding the scope of initiatives and enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of social responsibility programs.
The university achieved several notable accomplishments in the field of social responsibility, most prominently winning the Eighth Edition of the Award of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Ha’il Region, for its “Diploma in Media and Digital Marketing for Prison Inmates.” It also received the award for the best distinguished initiative supporting educational, training, and digital transformation efforts in prisons.
