Report on the results of measuring beneficiary satisfaction for the academic year 2023-2024

​​Introduction

The University of Hail has been committed to periodically measuring beneficiary satisfaction levels with the aim of enhancing service quality, improving the beneficiary experience, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The measurement process during the academic year 2023–2024 covered two main beneficiary groups:

  • Students.
  • Faculty members and those with equivalent status.

The surveys were conducted electronically, and their results were analyzed to be utilized in developing services and improving the work and learning environment.

First: Results of the Student Satisfaction Survey

The total number of participants in the student satisfaction survey reached (7,760) male and female students, of whom (4,927) were female students representing (63.49%) and (2,833) were male students representing (36.51%).

Distribution by Academic Level

  • Bachelor's level: 89.87%.
  • Diploma: 8.44%.
  • Postgraduate Studies: 1.69%.

Second: Results of the Faculty Members Satisfaction Survey

The total number of participants reached (1,483) faculty members and those with equivalent status from various university colleges.

Key Observations

  • Participation covered all academic colleges at the university.
  • The opinions of participants varied in a way that reflects good representation of different specializations and academic sectors.
  • The survey results contributed to identifying areas for improvement and development opportunities related to the educational environment and support services.

Key General Findings

The survey results revealed the following:

  • A good level of engagement and participation from beneficiaries.
  • Diversity of participants from various colleges and academic specializations.
  • Provision of a supportive database for continuous development and improvement processes.
  • Identification of a number of improvement opportunities that have been utilized in developing services and procedures.

Continuous Improvement Actions

The university works to benefit from the results of beneficiary satisfaction measurement through:

  • Studying the comments and suggestions included in the surveys.
  • Developing academic, administrative, and electronic services.
  • Monitoring performance indicators related to the beneficiary experience.
  • Implementing continuous improvement plans and periodically measuring their impact.

The University of Hail reaffirms its commitment to enhancing beneficiary participation and listening to their opinions and suggestions, as they are essential partners in service development and achieving institutional excellence. The university will continue to conduct satisfaction measurement studies periodically, contributing to raising service quality and improving the beneficiary experience.
