About Human Resources Operations Management

The Human Resources Operations Department is responsible for implementing and managing employment-related procedures for the University’s workforce, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and effectively in accordance with approved regulations and policies. Its responsibilities include appointment and recruitment procedures, contracting, commencement of employment, promotions, transfers, secondments, assignments, leave, salaries, allowances, rewards, and end-of-service procedures, in addition to processes related to faculty members and equivalent staff.

The Department also works to develop and govern human resources procedures, provide technical support and consultation to relevant University entities, and organize and maintain records and documentation. These efforts contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, expediting administrative processes, and improving the quality of services provided to University employees.

Department Tasks



1. Completing appointment, contracting, commencement of work, transfer, and termination procedures.

2. Ensuring that newly appointed and transferred employees commence their duties and submitting reports to their supervisors during the probationary period.

3. Taking the necessary actions regarding employee entitlements, including salaries, allowances, bonuses, and other benefits.

4. Identifying those eligible for promotion, collecting the necessary data about them, and submitting it to the Promotions Committee.

5. Preparing administrative decisions (leaves, secondments, temporary assignments, extensions for those reaching retirement age).

6. Issuing decisions regarding the disbursement of allowances and bonuses for faculty members and those of equivalent status.

7. Issuing certificates of employment and service.

8. Issuing travel orders for faculty members and those of equivalent status.

9. Renewing contracts for non-Saudi faculty members.

10. Issuing and renewing residency permits for non-Saudi faculty members.

11. Preparing letters and forms related to passport and recruitment matters.

12. Finalizing sponsorship transfer procedures after receiving approval from the authorized official in the relevant department.

13. Organizing and archiving the department's documents in a way that facilitates their retrieval and use.
