Competition of the Best Researcher awards- 2024-25

The department of Economics & Finance organizes a competition of best researcher awards 2024-2025 that targeted its male and female teaching staff

The Department has applied the following criteria to measure faculty research output points.  

Criteria for measuring points earned for the Best Research Award are given below:

1. Paper published in the Web of Science-indexed journals: Each paper published in a Web of Science-indexed journal will earn 5 points.

2. Citations in the Web of Science Indexed Journals:

3. Completion of funded research projects:

In recognition of the achievement of the winner, the Department would like to confer the following awards to honour him/her and motivate other faculty members to diligently pursue excellence in the field of research:

1. A certificate of appreciation

2. The winner name of best researcher award, will be published and displayed on the department website until August 2026.

The department encourages all teaching staff to participate in the competition and to upload the following data and evidence to the OneDrive folder whose link is given below by, September 30, 2025.

1. Screenshot or picture of the full metric dashboard from your Web of Science profile page.

2. Picture of the front page of each research paper published strictly between August 2024 and July 2025 in the Web of Science-indexed journals.

3. Evidence for the successful completion and submission of funded research projects between August 2024 and July 2025.

Note: any data submitted after the deadline may not be considered.
