The Center seeks excellence in the field of student guidance and counseling at the national and local levels, in order to evaluate, refine and develop the student’s personality, and bring him to a high degree of psychological, social and academic compatibility, so that he
and his community can benefit from his abilities.

The Student Guidance and Counseling Center at the University of Hail is concerned with providing the best guidance and counseling services in the psychological, social, functional and academic fields. It also works to help students understand themselves in order to encourage
them to achieve excellence and creativity.
* Objectives of the center:
- Providing competitive guidance programs (developmental, preventive, and therapeutic) for male and female university students at the level of Saudi universities.
- Providing specialized psychological advice and assistance through individual and group counseling sessions.
- Providing preventive counseling services by raising the difficulties facing students, confronting them, and ensuring that they do not occur.
- Providing development guidance services to develop the skills of male and female students in various aspects of their personalities.
- Study behavioral phenomena and negative problems that may appear in students’ lives and work to find appropriate solutions to them.
- Enhancing academic achievement, developing the capabilities of male and female university students, and overcoming the difficulties facing their academic adjustment.
- Paying attention to outstanding and gifted students and providing everything that would enhance their abilities and support their creativity in cooperation with the relevant authorities at the university.
- Taking care of struggling students, both male and female, and helping them to overcome the problems that hinder the achievement of their academic goals.
- Paying attention to students with special needs and providing programs that help them achieve psychological, social and academic adjustment and challenge disability.
- Taking care of scholarship students and providing programs that help them adapt to the Saudi environment and achieve their academic goals.
- Establishing a bridge of communication with formal and informal bodies that provide psychological and social care services to provide them with the necessary consultations, training and rehabilitation services.
- Spreading the culture of student guidance and counseling and the consistency of university systems and regulations among male and female university students.
- Developing the capabilities of faculty members in the areas of student guidance and counseling (academic, psychological, social, and career) so that they can practice guidance and counseling in a positive, scientific manner that benefits our students.
* Mechanisms for providing student guidance and counseling services at the University of Hail:
- The student can benefit from the services of the Student Guidance and Counseling Center at the University of Hail through one of the following mechanisms:
- Request a counseling service by presenting the problem or receiving advice using the website. (electronic services)
- Call the free advice phone and present the problem or receive advice.
- Fill out the electronic form on the university’s website, and the service requester will be contacted within 24 hours.
- Meet the college’s student guidance and counseling coordinator and fill out a request form for a specialized counseling service.
- Transfer by the academic advisor to receive a specialized guidance service at the center.
- Attend in person to the center’s headquarters in the Deanship of Student Affairs and meet the relevant employee in the Coordination and Follow-up Office to receive the counseling service as soon as possible.
