We welcome you to the site of the Department of orthopedic and Traumatology and we are pleased to introduce you to it. The department was established in 1445H, and it has evolved from a division within the Department of Surgery to an separate academic unit. Currently, the department has 4 faculty members. The success of the Department is metamorphosis has been dependent on its solid core of dedicated clinician, and knowledge providers, and master surgeons. Our impetus is to provide new initiatives that drive research and education such as AI technology and big data, and e-learning and telehealth. It is also crucial to continue reaching out to the local community and general populace. There are ample opportunities for professional development, research collaboration and achievements, and provision of quality patient healthcare. I am proud to lead this department in this academic edifice. We look forward to improve medical practices by building a future generation of healthcare leaders and providers. We strive to continue our distinguished journey of delivering quality services in health care, education, training and scientific research.
