Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering (EE) department at College of Engineering, University of Hail, Saudi Arabia currently offers an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with various specializations and a strong M.Sc. Program in Electrical Engineering. The EE department offers a broad range of EE courses, both elementary and advanced, spanning the whole gamut of EE disciplines including areas such as electronics, electrical machines, power engineering, control systems, computer systems, communication systems and networks. The EE department aims to achieve academic and research leadership in its subject area through its well-designed curriculum (that emphasizes conceptual understanding and fosters creativity) coupled with its strong focus on research, innovation, and industry-liaison. Department of Electrical Engineering also strongly emphasizes on imbibing the graduates with sound professional ethics.

Message of Head of Department

Welcome to the website of the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Hail. The Department of Electrical Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Students can choose to study electrical engineering, depending on their goals and performance in the preparatory programme. The program aims to enhance students' background in their field but is designed to deepen their understanding in one or more selected areas of electrical engineering. The EE program was created to educate and train students to meet the local and national demand for electrical engineering professionals. The Electrical Engineering program is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills in various sectors of electrical engineering with an emphasis on power, control, communications and electronics. The EE Department maintains a vibrant and good relationship with local industry to ensure the quality and job relevance of education as well as the employability of our graduates. Collaboration between university and industry leads to the development and promotion of effective educational programs such as those offered by the Department of Energy Efficiency. Our core areas are based on the knowledge-based economy. The Department of Electrical Engineering also encourages scientific research and provides advisory and technical services to government and private institutions. The Department of Electrical Engineering offers programs at the undergraduate as well as graduate level. At the university level, it offers a bachelor's degree. in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Engineering, while at the graduate level, the department offers a Master's program in Electrical Engineering. Our university program. That is, the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET. Vision

The vision of the Electrical Engineering program is to be recognized as a world-class academic program that provides excellence and leadership in electrical engineering education, research, and community service.

Message

The Electrical Engineering program will prepare graduates to accept and fulfill responsibilities across a wide range of activities, including the academic pursuits of electrical engineering, research in electrical engineering, and services to the engineering community and society at large.

Goals

Preparing graduates capable of practicing electrical engineering in its main fields such as electrical energy, communications and electronics.
Develop mathematical, scientific and technical skills related to the definition, formulation, design and analysis of electrical engineering problems.
Apply and practice knowledge of electrical engineering in professional and research settings
Demonstrated ability to apply for scholarships, lifelong learning, leadership, teamwork and service among alumni.
Enhance students' ability to communicate effectively through information and technical details in written or oral form.
