Strategic Plan
The College of Education at the University of Hail seeks, through its strategic plan, to be a leader and distinguished in preparing and qualifying educational practitioners cognitively and professionally, improving the college environment in accordance with academic accreditation standards, and contributing to the development of society through research and scientific studies in light of the requirements of sustainable development and in a way that achieves the aspirations of society in light of An administrative system based on transparency, integrity, justice, and self-reliance from the college’s resources, provided that all of the above are consistent with Islamic values, consistent with, and achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
Executive summary of the plan:
The college’s strategic plan achieves its goals, which are based on achieving the goals of Vision 2030 for the Kingdom. The plan has gone through several stages, which are: The first stage: preparation and preparation, which consists of forming a work team to prepare the strategic plan, distributing tasks and responsibilities to the work team, and spreading the culture of strategic planning among the college employees. (Administrators, students, and members), and the second stage: determining the reference and methodological frameworks for the strategic plan represented by studying and reviewing the university’s strategic plan, its goals and initiatives, studying and reviewing the plans of similar colleges of education locally, regionally, and globally, and reviewing the updated institutional accreditation standards issued by the National Center for Evaluation and Accreditation. Academic, analyzing the global context and national trends in university education, diagnosing the current situation of the college using the SWOT model, conducting benchmark comparisons and identifying requirements for improvement, cross-analysis of the internal and external environment, choosing the appropriate strategy, identifying the most important strategic issues for the college, and the third stage: formulating strategic directions ( Vision - Mission - Values - Goals - Policies) which consists of formulating the vision, mission, and values of the agency/college/deanship, and ensuring the extent of compatibility between the strategic directions, university directions, and national directions. The fourth stage is formulating the strategic plan and preparing the executive plan and its programmes. The fifth stage: implementing the strategic plan and following it up, which was represented by the transition from the stages of preparation to implementing the plan and following it up, formulating measurement indicators and target values to achieve the plan’s objectives, and formulating measurement indicators and target values for them. Finally, the sixth stage: which involves reviewing the plan by the concerned authorities and approving it.
