Graduates Unit

The Graduates Unit follows up on graduates’ affairs to learn about their jobs and the nature of their jobs, and to learn about the extent to which their specializations are compatible with the needs of the labor market. It also receives their suggestions about the programs they studied and coordinates with the relevant departments and the Quality Center within the university. 

One of the unit's tasks is also to provide them with information services regarding training and employment opportunities available in the private and public sectors, and to help them obtain appropriate jobs that are compatible with their specializations and the requirements of the labor market, and to introduce the public and private sectors to the competencies of university graduates in various specializations every year.

Unit Tasks

- Preparing and updating a guide for graduates that contains contact information and employers.​
- Creating a comprehensive database of graduates that is constantly updated in cooperation with the graduate committees of the university’s colleges.
- Supporting contributions from the University Alumni Association. ​
​- Holding programmes, seminars and workshops to support the employment of graduates and prepare them for the labor market, such as Career Day.
- Preparing opinion polls for graduates and employees.
- Preparing mechanisms for communicating with graduates and employers and strengthening relationships with them.
- Assisting graduates in searching for jobs in the private sector according to their specializations.​
- Informing graduates of developments within the university in academic and research aspects.
- Receiving proposals from graduates and employers, analyzing them, preparing periodic reports about them, and submitting them to the Quality Center for development and raising performance efficiency.

- Building a comprehensive database of college graduates for various academic departments.
- Communicating with graduates through various means of communication, which strengthens the graduate’s relationship with the college.
- Identify the most important obstacles facing graduates after they graduate and join the labor market.
- Developing graduates’ skills and preparing them to obtain job opportunities appropriate to the student’s outcomes.
- Guiding and assisting the graduate in cooperation with the training unit to obtain job opportunities.
- Conducting exploratory studies related to graduates and analyzing the results of these studies to take the necessary measures, as well as providing information to interested parties.
- Obtaining feedback from graduates about the latest developments in their respective fields, which is considered an essential foundation for developing educational programs.
- Organizing introductory courses at the college and inviting beneficiary sectors.
