Vision

      This unit participates in assisting the student to integrate into the academic environment to achieve the highest levels of educational attainment, which is necessary to achieve the goals of university education through stimulation of students his/ her divergent talents to be developed and integrated academically, psychologically and socially to be engaged in the community development.

Mission

The mission of academic advising unit is to assist students in their growth and development by constructing meaningful educational plans, which are compatible with their life goals. It is a continuous and consistent process, which is built upon the basis of frequent, accumulated personal contacts between advisor and students

1. Ensure that all students have access to reliable and valid academic advising services.

2. Ensure that all academic advisors are providing specific and accurate information.

3. Maximize student awareness of short and long-range educational goals.

4. Facilitate successful attainment of students’ educational and career goals.

5. Facilitate students’ achievement of grades and grade point averages (G.P.A.s) consistent with their abilities.

6. Encourage all students to seek advisement from their designated advisor.

7. Ensure that all advisors have access to necessary student records.
