About Department

Based on the directives of the university’s senior administration regarding the need for conferences and events held at the university to appear in an honorable and organized manner befitting the status and reputation of the University of Hail, and to reduce the burden on all sectors of the university with regard to organizing conferences and events, and to assign these tasks to a department specialized in implementing them, this department was established to organize and develop conferences and events in a way that meets the needs of the university and its employees, saving time and effort in preparing conferences and various scientific and cultural events

It is active participation in serving Saudi faculty members, contractors, our male and female university students, and the community by ensuring that we provide our best to make the university stand out among Saudi universities in particular and international universities in general by achieving the following:
 
• Strengthening the ties between the university and other universities by organizing conferences and scientific meetings within the university, following them up with the relevant authorities, participating in supervising them, and submitting their recommendations to the Ministry for distribution to the universities and authorities related to the conference topic.
• Contributing to achieving the university’s vision and mission to be among the ranks of international universities and displaying the university on the international map through faculty members’ participation in conferences, seminars, workshops, and organizing scientific meetings.
• Preparing statistics and building databases on participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops and on conferences held by the university.
• Cooperating with university sectors to obtain the necessary approvals to hold scientific events.
• Facilitating and developing procedures for faculty members to attend conferences, seminars, workshops, and the like.
• Opening communication channels with other universities and international research centers through visiting professors and obtaining the necessary visas for them to visit the university.

In conclusion, I congratulate everyone on this achievement and I ask God Almighty to bless the efforts and crown them with good luck and success.

Organizational structure


Events and Conferences Department


Services:

• Organizing university events and scientific conferences.
• Approving all necessary permits for bringing supplies into the department's facilities, including: the Main Theater, Conference Hall, Upper Dining Hall, Lower Dining Hall in Building 26, Grandstand No. 82 in Building 21, Main Lobby, and Outdoor Courtyards in front of the Library (between the College of Education and Arts).
• Supervising all facilities affiliated with the department.
• Coordinating with supporting deanships regarding event preparation, including providing female engineers (Deanship of Electronic Transactions and Communications) and handling transfer/removal requests (Deanship of Operations and Support Services).
