Application procedures: Holding a scientific meeting on campus:
1 - A letter from His Excellency the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research specifying the objectives of the scientific meeting, its date, and the approximate budget for the meeting. And fill out the designated form.
2 - The application must be submitted no less than one year before the conference or symposium from the date of its holding.
3- Fill out the scientific meeting request form.
4 - Fill out the participant forms and the Saudi updates.
5 - Fill out the form for participants or speakers for non-Saudi residents.
6 - Fill out the form for participants and speakers for non-Saudis from abroad.
7 - Fill out a visa application form for participants and speakers from abroad.
Procedures for requesting a visiting professor:
1 - Fill out the electronic form through the university’s page (electronic services).
2- Attach a clear copy of the visiting professor’s passport. If he has companions, a clear copy of the companions’ passport must be attached.
3- Attach a copy of the visiting professor’s CV.
4 - Applications are sent to the Conferences and Seminars Department, provided that the application is submitted four months before the specified or expected date.
Procedures for applying to attend a conference or participate:
Requests to attend conferences and the like shall be submitted to the University Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research (Conferences and Seminars Management), fulfilling the following:
1 - Fill out the forms prepared for this purpose by the Conferences and Seminars Administration in word format.
2- A copy of the CV.
3 - Attach the research acceptance letter or something similar to the conference if it is not nominated by the university.
4 - Recommendation of the Department and College Councils after its approval by His Excellency the University President.
5 - What indicates that the name of the university is written on the search.
6 - In the case of joint research, attach the approval of the participating researcher or participating researchers to submit the research to the conference.
7 - A copy of the scientific assignment report for the last conference he attended, which must be submitted two weeks after attending the conference or symposium.
Applications for participation will not be considered unless all of the above are met.
8 - Submit a request to attend or participate to the University Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research (Conferences and Seminars Management) no less than two months before it is held.
9 - Photocopies of attendance at at least three training courses during a previous year from the date of the conference in which you wish to participate from the Deanship of Quality and Development at the university.
10 - Proof of proficiency in the conference language through one of the following data:
A- Graduation from a university in a country that speaks the language of the conference.
B- TOEFL (450) or its equivalent.
