These visits aim to familiarize high school students expected to graduate with the college's specialties and the programs it offers. Engineering students provided comprehensive explanations to their high school peers about their specialties, how they chose them, expected job opportunities after graduation, in addition to introducing the college's specialties such as civil engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, architectural engineering, electrical engineering, as well as unique specialties like renewable energy engineering, the first of its kind in the Kingdom's universities, and interior design engineering.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Sheneifi, the Dean of the College of Engineering, explained that the "Engineers of the Future" initiative aims to introduce the college's specialties, programs, and the nature of studying there to high school students before entering university to motivate and assist them in choosing suitable majors. He mentioned that a group of college students, under the supervision of faculty members, visited middle and high schools for boys and girls.

Dr. Al-Sheneifi added that the initiative involved various college students visiting Baqaa Boys' Secondary School, providing information about the college departments, the study environment, and appropriate practical steps to encourage students to choose suitable majors, improve their academic performance, and benefit from scientific material during their university studies. He also highlighted that female students from the interior design department visited middle and high schools in Baqaa, including a presentation about the college of engineering and its different departments. One of the students spoke about the importance of interior design engineering in bridging between architectural engineering and functional needs in interior furnishing, emphasizing the importance of developing internal systems for facilities in light of external environmental data to meet requirements.

These visits witnessed interaction from students regarding the nature of engineering specialties and their diverse fields. Furthermore, as part of the same initiative, the College of Engineering previously organized similar visits for its students to several schools in Hail city to raise awareness about the importance of engineering specialties.
