As part of comprehensive healthcare initiatives ("Because You Matter, Hail University Cares"), Dr. Rashid bin Muslat Al-Sharif initiated the "Be Assured" initiative by university medical clinics for the annual medical examination of university staff. This took place yesterday morning, Sunday, 23 Rajab 1445 AH, corresponding to February 4, 2024, and continues for five days. The initiative aims to raise awareness among university staff about the importance of regular medical check-ups, guide them on preventive measures against diseases, enhance self-awareness of chronic diseases, and encourage periodic check-ups, laboratory tests, and monitoring vital signs. The clinics offer various medical examination services to university staff, including a complete blood count, measurement of hemoglobin and iron levels in the blood, liver enzymes, kidney function, beneficial and harmful fats, measurement of cholesterol levels in the blood, calcium, and blood salt levels.
