He highlighted the support from the government, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The university aims to excel in scientific research, reflecting its strategic plan (2023/2028) to achieve national targets. The remarks were made during the launch of the second edition of the Research and Innovation Forum organized by the University's Agency for Postgraduate Studies, Research, and Scientific Studies. Dr. Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Rashidi from the Research and Development Authority presented the main paper at the forum, discussing support programs and opportunities. He praised Hail University's role in practical research and development, emphasizing sustainability in funding. Dr. Haitham bin Mohammed Al-Saif, the Dean of Scientific Research at the university, provided a visual presentation on the current state of scientific research, key programs, and research projects. The university is committed to developing programs aligned with future research trends, fostering an encouraging environment for outstanding researchers. He highlighted that 17 researchers from the university are listed among the top 2% globally according to Stanford University. Finally, Mr. Mohammed Fassi from the Intellectual Property Management Office at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals conducted a workshop on patenting mechanisms and applied research.
