Hail University, represented by the College of Education, concluded the third International Annual Conference on "Modern Trends in Educational Sciences" on Thursday, May 1-2, 2024. The conference featured keynote sessions, scientific presentations, and remote workshops where participants, researchers, and specialists discussed various developments in the field of education and its applications. The conference highlighted international best practices in educational sciences, addressing trends, theories, and modern experiences in education, teaching methods, curriculum design, educational technologies, as well as educational studies and gifted care. It emphasized the need for collaboration among education colleges in the GCC countries, the role of teachers and families in nurturing and investing in gifted individuals, and leveraging experienced teachers in AI teaching methods. Additionally, it stressed the importance of training programs for AI users to enhance their skills, promoting educational gaming activities to enhance students' cognitive and creative skills, and empowering school principals through leadership training. Partnerships with the job market were recommended to align college programs with industry requirements, improve teachers' professional development, enhance the role of school counselors, and provide training for parents of children with disabilities. The participants expressed gratitude to the Prince and Deputy Prince of Hail for sponsoring the conference and to Hail University for facilitating the event under the leadership of Dr. Rashid bin Maslat Al-Sharif.
