Under the patronage of His Excellency, the Minister of Education, Professor Yousif bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation of University Sports, the Chess Championship for Saudi Universities (Female Students), organized by the Saudi Federation of University Sports in its fourteenth season, kicked off at Hail University, and is scheduled to continue from April 30 to May 4, 2024.
The championship, in which female students from 27 government and private Saudi universities participate, aims to enhance and develop skills, motivate students to engage in their favorite hobbies, and expand the base of chess players, with a focus on fostering a healthy spirit of sports competition among them. The technical meeting for the championship was held with representatives from participating universities to ensure the readiness of the participants for the competitions, which consist of 7 rounds, and it is expected to witness great competition among the students.
