The President of Hail University sponsors the honoring of the winners in the second edition of the Holy Quran Memorization Competition "Hafiz".

Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Hail University, Dr. Rashid bin Muslat Al-Sharif, the Student Affairs Deanship in partnership with the College of Sharia and Law organized a ceremonial honoring event for the winners of the Holy Quran Memorization Competition (Hafiz) in its second edition, held on Tuesday, 16th of Ramadan 1445 AH (corresponding to March 26, 2024), at the Conference Center in the university city.

The event commenced with recitation of verses from the Noble Quran by student Malik Al-Zamil, followed by a speech from His Excellency the Dean of Sharia and Law, Dr. Majid Al-Sumai'an, congratulating the participants and winners of the competition, emphasizing the importance of learning and teaching the Holy Quran, and praising the leadership's pivotal role and unlimited support in Quranic education and memorization. He concluded his speech by thanking the University President and the Student Affairs Deanship for the success of the competition and the provision of purposeful activities and distinguished initiatives.

Then, the President of Hail University, Professor Rashid bin Muslat Al-Sharif, honored the winning students in the Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition in its various categories as follows:

In the first branch of the competition (memorization of the entire Quran), student Mawaddah Al-Amir achieved the first place, followed by student Malik Al-Zamil in second place, and student Malik Al-Khayyat in third place, all from the College of Sharia and Law.

In the second branch of the competition (memorization of fifteen parts), student Ayoub Al-Qamaan from the College of Nursing secured the first place, followed by student Ahmed Al-Aslami from the College of Sharia and Law in second place, and student Kareema Bakhreesah from the College of Engineering and Computer Science in third place.

As for the winners in the third branch (memorization of ten parts), student Jawahir Al-Huqas from the College of Sharia and Law achieved the first place, followed by student Shatha Al-Zaghaibi from the College of Computer Science and Engineering in second place, and student Salah Jaelu Ismail from the College of Arts and Sciences in third place.
