I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Department of Media at the College of Arts and Arts at the University of Hail, which was established in 2018 AD, out of the university’s awareness of the role and importance of media, and its endeavor to contribute to national development plans and keep pace with rapid media changes and developments.
The Department of Media is going through a period of diligent pursuit to achieve its goals, with a desire to prepare distinguished graduates scientifically, academically and professionally, while adhering to the necessary foundations and professional standards to serve the public interest, and ensuring the performance of the media profession faithfully in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 AD.
The department grants - in two parts - a bachelor's degree in media by offering an integrated qualitative academic program that includes the four media tracks: public relations, communication, radio, television, journalism, publishing, multimedia, and new media. The department also offers a diploma program in public relations and communication in cooperation with the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education at the university. The department will soon begin offering an Executive Master's program in Relations and Communication.
It is with great pride that the Media Department is experiencing an exceptional year as it celebrates the graduation of the first batch of its bachelor’s degree students after a distinguished academic career.
