By completion of the course prescribed, student shall be able to :
a. well-acquainted with basic terms, concepts and facts that are in relation to geographical information system
b. able to understand and implement skills and knowledge that he /she learns in the field of geographical information system and digital maps.
c. able to use remote sensory programs to clarify satellite images
e. Capable of self-acquisition of geographical knowledge from their diverse resources.
f. Able to analyze geographical problems, and formulate suitable solutions thereof.

Graduates with a Master's degree of Geographical information System are expected to qualify for the different posts in both public and private sectors, and as follows:
1. Fields related to the discipline in ministries of Agriculture , Planning and Housing , Environment and other circles of Survey . Petroleum and others.
2. Research centers and geographical studies and weather forecast.
3. A number of jobs relating to aerial survey and geodesic surveys.
4. Areas of human resource , urban and rural studies.
5. Information and statistics centers.
