Acceptance Criteria in Program

1. Applicant should have a bachelor's degree with at least the standard (Good) from a Saudi university or from other recognized university with a suitable scientific specialization.

2. A certificate of Good Conduct

3. Applicant to be medically fit

4. To submit an approval from his / her competent authorities if he/she works at public or private entity.

5. To pass the following :

- Admission Exam

- To submit work experience in his / her field

- submit sessions certificates in their field of study

- To meet any other conditions determined by the council of the university which may be announced later.

By completion of the course prescribed, student shall be able to :

a. well-acquainted with basic terms, concepts and facts that are in relation to geographical information system

b. able to understand and implement skills and knowledge that he /she learns in the field of geographical information system and digital maps.

c. able to use remote sensory programs to clarify satellite images

e. Capable of self-acquisition of geographical knowledge from their diverse resources.

f. Able to analyze geographical problems, and formulate suitable solutions thereof.

Graduates with a Master's degree of Geographical information System are expected to qualify for the different posts in both public and private sectors, and as follows:

1. Fields related to the discipline in ministries of Agriculture , Planning and Housing , Environment and other circles of Survey . Petroleum and others.
