About Chair

Peace is a sublime goal, a human value, a historical endeavor, a civilizational step in the process of human development, and a renewed universal demand. It emerges whenever the horizons of human civilization are renewed in its aspirations to achieve a more appropriate level of social coexistence, civilizational interaction, and a better context for economic cooperation.

Peace also contributes to confronting challenges, solving problems, managing crises, overcoming conflicts, and avoiding violence in its many forms. Dialogue based on moral values and humanitarian principles is a necessary condition for all efforts aimed at achieving peace.

In this context, the Global Initiative for Interfaith Dialogue, launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, and his sponsorship of the Global Messengers of Peace Program, expresses a vision that embodies the civilizational status of the nation. It reflects the global leadership of the wise leadership and its lofty mission to promote human values, consolidate their principles, enhance their culture, and activate their practice, so that peace may prevail among the peoples of the earth.
