Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Hail Region, and in the presence and honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Alhanouf bint Turki Al-Farm, the wife of the Governor of Hail Region, the University of Hail organized a ceremony to honor the distinguished female graduates of the 19th batch for the academic year 1445 AH. The ceremony took place on the evening of Sunday, 18th Dhul-Qa’dah 1445 AH (May 26, 2024), at the Knowledge Hall in the Administrative Tower. Her Highness was received by Dr. Wadha bint Shbib Al-Otaibi, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, along with the vice deans of the colleges and the mothers of the distinguished graduates.
The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by the procession of the distinguished graduates and the recitation of the Holy Quran. Then, a speech by the President of the University of Hail, Prof. Dr. Rashid bin Muslat Al-Sharif, was delivered on his behalf by the Vice Dean of Student Affairs. In her speech, she welcomed the wife of the Governor of Hail Region and appreciated her honoring the ceremony, considering it a tribute to the university and its distinguished students.
Following this, the procession of the distinguished graduates continued, celebrating their journey of hard work and dedication, a journey that began as a dream and ended as a reality. Afterward, a documentary film about the Administrative Tower at the university was shown. Then, the distinguished graduate, Ghada Al-Dakhil from the College of Dentistry, delivered the speech on behalf of the graduates. She expressed her gratitude to Her Highness Princess Alhanouf on behalf of the graduates and their mothers, thanking those who were behind their success. She emphasized the leadership's keen interest in education, including the Human Capacity Development Program, which aims to build and elevate the capabilities of young people, enabling Saudi citizens to compete globally. She also thanked the University of Hail for nurturing the distinguished students.
This was followed by a documentary film highlighting the university's major achievements and developments across various levels.
Her Highness Princess Alhanouf then gave a speech, saying, “I am pleased to be among you to celebrate an achievement that fills us with pride. Today, we celebrate the distinguished graduates of the 19th batch at the University of Hail. The efforts of our female students and the contributions of the University of Hail have played a crucial role in this excellence, providing the community with knowledge across various fields.”
She added, “This achievement would not have been possible without the support and guidance of our wise government, which has encouraged the participation of women in all areas of life and their scientific and social competition at the global level. The patronage of His Highness the Governor of Hail Region and the presence of His Deputy at the graduation ceremony of the 19th batch, and his patronage of this honoring ceremony, are the greatest support for the University of Hail and its members.”
Following this, congratulatory messages from the patron of the ceremony were sent to the graduates via text messages, stating: “I am pleased to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your graduation from the University of Hail this year, 1445/2024 AH. I hope that Saudi women will contribute with their skills to the development of our beloved country and fulfill the aspirations of our leaders.”
At the end of the ceremony, Princess Alhanouf, alongside the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, honored the distinguished graduates, and the university presented a commemorative gift to Her Highness Princess Alhanouf, offered by the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, who expressed her deep gratitude for Her Highness's honor and presence at the ceremony.
