About Deanship

The Deanship of Information Technology is one of the important supporting deanships at the university. It was established immediately after the issuance of Higher Education Council Resolution No. 18/58/1431 AH on 2/18/1431 AH, and Royal Approval No. (2487/MB) on 3/14/1431 AH. The Deanship serves as the main nucleus for employing technology throughout the university and acts as its backbone for adopting and keeping pace with modern technologies. This is due to the presence of distinguished technical and technological capabilities that enable the provision of a developed academic environment supported by modern technologies. Additionally, the Deanship re-engineers traditional processes through software systems that automate transactions, enhances communication mechanisms among university members, supplies all university sectors with electronic transaction services, and provides maintenance and operational systems.
