As much as rules and regulations are important in our daily life, our newsletter also has some. I will lay down few here to keep everything fair and be able to show no favoritism.
It needs to be said at this stage, to avoid any misunderstanding, that contributions to the AMN must conform to the following guidelines:
Articles should be written in English, typed in a MS Word document and carefully proofread. Maximum length should not exceed 2 pages, single spaced.
You can send one or more articles provided they fall into different sections in the newsletter.
As the AMN is a web site newsletter, therefore, photographs or images submitted with your article should be saved in the ‘jpg’ or ‘gif’ formats required for posting on the internet.
Articles should be titled as follows:
Author’s name(s)
Department Name
Title
E-mail address
Office phone number
The items (1) and (2) can be submitted in a floppy disc (office 207-1st floor) or e-mailed to amn@uoh.edu.sa .
What we accept:
Factors that are considered
Is it of immediate practical use to our college community?
Is the content of interest to a broad readership?
Does it conform to the guidelines mentioned above?
What we reject:
Things that are not of immediate interest to our college community
